How we leapt beyond the stars

and giggled like two little kids

as if nothing had happened

as if the world needed us!

We wallowed and bickered

like two little kids

happy in the mud

happy in the sand!

How we leapt beyond the stars

beyond time, beyond space

like we were these wizards

with wands in our hands!

I sure did tell you

it was going to be tough

that we had to move mountains

for us to be together

How we made the stars come down

and kneel before us

when they chose to kill us

with bolts of bad luck!

We are here now

and now is our time

to carve out our space

between folds they call life!
