diary of a pearl moon by Hein Min Tun

Lost

Lost between two lives
imagine how wedged....
to stay put

when the heart doesn't fit
in with the mould.

Can there exist a splash
of yellow light
where love flowers don't sway?

in a soul
equipped with a binary world
how impossible
life would grow
like a lush green sprout

in between.

Inclined
          towards desires
sheathed in rainbow sheen,
slip tight into the option,
against the current,
sand dune after sand dune
dreams.....
stretching their wings
to catch the sun

But some dreams.... have
a deadline.

When survival fringed
on the verge of disaster__
both personal and impersonal,

merged into the life....

where meaning has left its memory,
with misty eyes turned towards the heart
far off in the parallel line.

tattooing over the blatant
death on the body,
adapt to the confined wind tide
of this banal crowd.
