Life’s Measure by Sushant Thapa

Life's beauty if lost

Is painful to the eye.

If the living is a thread.

Darkness is a meaningful sorrow

Teaching harsh lessons.

The air is cool

By the lake water.

The tender stone in the sky

Is the moon of the romantic hour.

Earthly merriment,

Caging temptations,

All absurd faces on walls.

The wall wouldn't be famous

If the clock did not show time.

Wall clock is a

Freedom of interdependence.

The individuality can be sculpted

More like a won battle

With no one dead.

A war is won only when

No one dies.

The universal acclaim

Is a playing ground of ceaseless

Efforts underway.
