Imagining a New World through Love by Sushant Thapa

My longings are real

Though my imagination

Worships your arrival.

“Everything you can imagine is real,” says

Picasso.

I let the voices of inner calling

Not drown,

But reach for the gold below the sea.

Who says you cannot devise unimagined ideas

In poetry?

The ideas that are not real

Like holy grain and golden submarine of love.

Holy grain could be the barley that you use

To worship.

Let me add more symbolic clothing to this poem,

So that it does not sound like a report.

My love is a kite,

It is pulled by your strings.

My imagination has a soul,

A deep wooden god lives within it,

It is the large tree that pushes away

My day to day worldly limitations,

With its shades.

My home is an ancient submarine

You and I, we could go deep to the new world.

Life is like letters

The distances between lovers

Still don’t count much.

The togetherness also does not matter

If you wish for a distance,

Love is a distant dream

That is intense,

It is felt close.

In intensity one is born

Time and again in love

It is real

In the moment,

Justification is a void,

In love.
