The homeless man stares
Into the expanse of the night sky
Stars are born and break like wishes
That twinkle on cloudless nights
Being alive is a celebration
The seasons become irrelevant
The silence overpowers the darkness
And bottled up emotions surge
The restrictions on thoughts break
And the mind freely wanders, carefree
What if a world worries
What if a world worries not?
The tidings of the time
The tiring trials of the day
Where do these vanish exactly
When the city falls asleep
Leaving a lonely soul
Searching for its identity among millions
Abandoning the cautions of norms
Letting go the inhibitions
Brushing aside the consequences
Of unsolicited exhibitions
In the wee hours of the night
Arriving autumn awakens dormant soliloquy
