The Oak Seeds by Rajendra Ojha

So sweet of you to give me the seeds of the Oak tree,

But my garden is deprived of the sunlight needed for it.

Despite having no proper sunlight in the garden,

You may wonder why I accepted that Oak seed from you.

Easier it is to obtain land in an area with a good environment,

Then, finding even a minimal piece of oak seeds.

And now my unexpressed credit goes to you,

For providing these seeds of that mighty tree.

I know my garden is deprived of sunlight for now,

So, I won’t not mind even if I get no aesthetic landscape around me.

But so sweet of you to give me seeds of the Oak tree,

Despite having improper sunlight, I'll never let you down.

Despite having an enormous fertile land in the creation of policies,

Why are the oak seeds of politics yet unharvested?

Perhaps the genuine farmers of this fertile land,

Do not consider the authenticity of pesticides to eliminate pests in the Oak.

Or maybe all those genuine farmers we have,

Are already affected by those deadly pesticides.

I understand that sometimes the garden may be deprived of sunlight,

But the use of those unobserved pesticides;

May result in a reduction of the fertile land I currently have.
