Book Launch: Joly Tarafder’s CHHAYA CHAKRA (poetry)

Her literary journey started from childhood when Joly Tarafder was in school, then her syllabus poem book attracted her and birthed the poem seed. She never read any others' poetry books so how she started this journey is amazing. From 2010, starting this journey till now she continues writing. In 2015 India, West Bengal Kolkata Book Fair published her first poem from "Banger Chata" magazine, through the inaugural Chief Minister Mamata Banarjee's hand. After that she is working with many national and international little magazines. From Akkhor Prakashani her first poetry book "CHHAYA CHAKRA" first launched from Darjeeling Tea Garden on 29th July. After that, an official launch on 4th august from Islampur, Town Library. At this book launch programme, inauguration and lighting of the lamp by Chairman Mr.Kanaia Lal Agarwal, present as president. author Mr. Nishikanta Sinha, with honorable guest Banga and National awardee and social worker, Dr. Suman Chatterjee.

এই সাহিত্য সফরের গল্প শুরু হয় শৈশব থেকে স্কুল জীবন থেকে স্কুল সিলেবাস কবিতার বই থেকে বিশেষ আগ্রহ বীজ বপন সৃষ্টি হয় । 

স্কুল বইয়ের বাইরে কোনও বই পড়া হয়নি ২০১০ থেকে প্রতিনিয়ত লেখালেখি শুরু হয় ২০১৫ থেকে পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর "ব্যাঙের ছাতা" পত্রিকায় প্রথম কবিতার প্রকাশ ঘটে কলকাতা বইমেলা মাননীয় মূখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায় এর হাত দিয়ে। 

তারপর থেকে একাধিক দেশ বিদেশের পত্রিকার সাথে কাজ করা। 

অক্ষর প্রকাশনী থেকে জলি তরফদারের প্রথম কাব্যগ্রন্থ প্রথম প্রকাশ দার্জিলিং চা বাগানের পাহাড়ের ২৯শে জুলাই প্রকাশ পাই এবং আনুষ্ঠানিক প্রকাশ ৪ আগষ্ট ইসলামপুর টাউন লাইব্রেরী উদ্বোধন হয় ইসলামপুর পৌরসভা চেয়ারম্যান শ্রী কানাইলাল আগরওয়াল এর হাত দিয়ে শুভ প্রদীপ প্রজ্জ্বলন ও বই উদ্বোধন হয়। 

প্রধান অতিথি হিসেবে ছিলেন সাহিত্যিক নিশিকান্ত সিনহা সম্মানীয় অতিথি হিসেবে ছিলেন শিলিগুড়ি থেকে আগত বঙ্গ সম্মান ও জাতীয় সম্মান ভূষিত এবং সমাজসেবক ডাঃ সুমন চট্টোপাধ্যায়।
