Disability discussion with Sudip Simkhada (Nepal)

I born with disability in 23^rdsept 1994. My disability is cerebral palsy(CP). My disability prevents me from writing and walking. I use wheelchair for surroundings and cab for long distance. Although I type with one finger, the MBA degree of US university helps me to increase my speed in typing. I have huge interest in literature. I love to write novel and story in the native language. While talking about Nepali language, the resources are very limited. I use google tool to write in native.There is no perfect method or device that support native language. My writing helps me to communicate, contribute something in literature, use my time perfectly and many more.

Since the employment of disabled person is one of the challenging factor all over the world, I am also facing the same challenges. I spent most of my time on computer which encourage me to enhance my writing along with the speed. While talking about my achievement, I wrote the novel about brain drain in the native language in the holidays after completing higher studies. The enough time except my academic helps a lot to encourage me on writing.

Today is the generation of technology. This is the best time to flourish marginal group like disability and other in term of seeking opportunities like writing. This process also decreases the burden of finance to share thoughts and the concept of writing. While talking about authorize publisher, there are several challenges to publish the writing. There is no proper website or portal to submit writings. Most of the discussion are made through emails and calls. After selection also, there are various infrastructural obstacles on the various phases such as in-person talks for final decision, publication events and many more. I love to suggest the following points for the publisher.

Enhance the website and other online platforms.

Make disable friendly infrastructure in any events as well as publication houses.

Proper online communication system need to be develop.

The inclusive marketing need to be done in order to promote disability.

Disability in the context of Nepal is very scatter in nature. The government divide those disabilities in ten different group to address this problem.Again, these groups are combine into 4 major group to identify common problem as well as to provide social security allowances which is from NPR 500 to NPR 3000 per month. There is also lack of services and facilities in the rural areas. Although the division of disability took perfectly, it's hard to capture all the data around the nation.
