Amen by Priyanka Banerjee

Mouth caresses mouth of shadowy fancy, slumberous waiting, shining pores of infinite pain.
I collapsed into your lap in the no man's land
When I clung to your strong hands of fancy, blind rage, disastrous destiny.
Dark streets woke up and kissed my curly hair making the path for layers of ether, blue vapours that you breathed out and I absorbed.
Ancient city of hidden gems
Searched for pearls between my thighs -
Nights whispered secrets of masculine forgetfulness, feminine submission -
Light merges with bones, skin, nails, eyeballs.
Painted maps separated us from the woods of dried up veins!
eternal love breeds deepest agony of defiance, refusal -
loss of moments; adolescent pining for the red moon still haunts the naked mind that you engulfed

And I became secluded again -

And I was turned into rock again -

And you dared kiss the other's lips.

Midnights silenced the voice of my bleeding dreams.

I smelt your cheeks and merged with deepest slumber defying the terror of my visions.

My red moon saw your entangled limbs as you refused to explore the
golden beach.

Boots strengthen the collapsing martyr -

Amen.
